Apex Performance Clinic is a specialized injury massage clinic dedicated to helping individuals recover from injuries and improve their physical performance. We offer a range of massage therapies and treatments tailored to address specific injuries and promote overall well-being.

2. What types of injuries do you treat?

Sports Massage Therapy can be used to treat musculoskeletal conditions and injuries. This treatment extends outside of sports-related injuries, so anyone that suffers an injury caused by physical exertion or musculoskeletal condition that is causing chronic pain can benefit.

3. What if I don’t play sports - can I still benefit from Injury Massage Therapy?

Yes, anyone that suffers an injury caused by physical exertion or musculoskeletal condition that is causing chronic pain can benefit. This includes people of all activity levels from highly active to completely sedentary.

4. Where are you located?

Apex Performance Clinic is located in the MyDocs building at 29 Sallins Rd, Naas West, Naas, Co. Kildare, W91 VW68. Upon arrival, please let the receptionist know you are there to see Apex Performance Clinic.

5. How much does it cost?

A 60 minute treatment costs €80. Treatments can be paid for online when making your appointment, or in person using either cash or card.

6. How can massage therapy help with injuries?

Massage therapy can aid in injury recovery by reducing pain, inflammation, and muscle tension. It also promotes circulation, enhances flexibility, and accelerates the healing process. Our therapists use evidence-based techniques to address the root causes of your injury.

7. How do I book an appointment?

You can book an appointment with us by using our online booking portal on our homepage. We recommend booking in advance to secure your preferred time slot. We are unable to accept phone calls. If there are any queries about treatments don’t hesitate to email us.

8. Do I need a referral from a doctor to receive treatment?

No, you do not need a doctor's referral to receive treatment at Apex Performance Clinic. We welcome self-referrals, but we also work closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care when necessary.

9. What should I expect during my first appointment?

During your initial visit, our therapist will conduct a thorough assessment of your injury, medical history, and treatment goals. They will then develop a personalised treatment plan and explain the process to you. When your first appointment is booked you will receive a confirmation email that will include forms that you can complete at home in order to speed up the intake process at the beginning of your treatment.

10. What should I wear for my massage appointment?

As elements of treatment include a variety of techniques, including massage and movement, we recommend that men wear a pair of training/gym shorts and a t-shirt that can be removed to allow for complete treatment. We recommend women wear training/gym shorts, a sports bra and a t-shirt that can be removed to allow for complete treatment. Please note that these are our recommendations, which will allow for the most effective treatment, however treatment can be performed over other light clothing if you would prefer.

11. How long is a typical massage session?

Treatments last 60 minutes.

12. Is sports massage therapy covered by insurance?

Many insurance providers offer coverage for sports massage therapy, especially when it is prescribed as part of a treatment plan for an injury or medical condition. Irish Life and LAYA healthcare are some of the providers that will pay for a proportion of the treatment’s cost. We recommend checking with your insurance provider to determine your coverage eligibility.

13. I’m under the age of 18 - can I book an appointment?

Unfortunately we are unable to accept clients below the age of 18.
